space, disposable containment for messy applications, or are interested
in setting up a field laboratory, the RCK (Rapid Containment Kit) is the
low cost solution. All components are stored easily in a carrying case
to facilitate easy transport and the complete on-board air filtration
system allows this containment device to be set up and used on-demand.
Operation:
- Assembled and operational in less than a minute.
- Bag in / Bag out tube provides a safe sample entry
and exit while maintaining Glovebox operational pressure.
- Airtight zipper on one side allows for ingress /
setup of large items.
Various sampling ports for use with external detectors
and analytical equipment are provided.
Specifications:
- Dome shaped with a base of 30”x30” and
a height of 33”.
- Total weight including batteries, blower and filters
is 15lbs.
- Sides are clear 15mil polyurethane with reinforced
bottom.
- Two part glove-sleeve allows any hand glove to be
used, resulting in better fit and tactility.
Filtration:
- Self-contained negative pressure filtration system
operates on two D cell batteries.
- Supply air is HEPA filtered. Exhaust air is double
HEPA or double HEPA and carbon filtered. All filters are readily available
and easily replaceable.
- Filtration system can be used to provide filtered
air to positively pressure the workspace to keep contaminants out.
