Jeff Serle

Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Serle is not only an accomplished Chief Operating Officer but a man of many talents and interests. While he has over 30 years of experience engineering critical environments for biocontainment, chemical safety and pharmaceutical manufacturing, he is also enjoys being outdoors, hiking, golfing or playing games with the family. When Jeff is not busy leading operations at Germfree Laboratories and spearheading the development of groundbreaking mobile and modular facility solutions for biocontainment and cGMP manufacturing, he can be found spending time with his Wife, Carol, and Kids, Nicholas, Melissa, Jeffrey. Jeff has been happily married for 26 years, and his strong family values are a testament to the culture he has fostered at Germfree Laboratories. Jeff’s career has included leading the engineering of primary and secondary high containment equipment for organizations performing disease surveillance research. This work led to further innovation combining high containment equipment with mobile and field-based laboratory solutions, which led to the development and commercialization of modular laboratories and cleanrooms. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University and is actively involved in various professional associations, including the Past president, and 12-year Board member of Controlled Environment Testing Association (CETA) and the American Biological Safety Association. Despite his many professional achievements and busy schedule, Jeff knows how to find balance in his life. Whether he’s hitting the links for a round of golf or spending quality time with his family, Jeff’s commitment to his work and personal life is a testament to the kind of leader he is and the impact he has had on those around him.
