Germfree designs and manufactures laminar flow hoods customized for any pharmaceutical application. Our Unidirectional Airflow Cabinets are engineered for the specific demands of your process. We offer HEPA or ULPA filtration systems to meet ISO 5 (Class 100) as well as ISO 4 (Class 10) standards or up to EU GMP Grade A. Biopharmaceutical production platforms often have unique configurations and clean air workstations must be properly integrated with all other systems.

Laminar flow environments for the processes of tomorrow.
Straddle Laminar Airflow units are used to provide product and process protection for large scale applications that would not be possible inside a standard laminar flow hood. Additionally, Straddle LAF units can be used to house robotic machines, such as those used for aseptic vial filling, closing, and capping. In many applications, use of a Straddle LAF can eliminate the need for an ISO 5 or better cleanroom.

The LAF Series Laminar Flow Hood is designed for safe, unencumbered handling of non-hazardous materials in a sterile working environment. The work area is maintained under positive pressure to protect against particulates. A HEPA filter is positioned above the work area and is protected by a removable, perforated metal diffuser. The airflow utilized by the LAF Series Hood consists of moving individual streams of unidirectional, ultra-clean air along parallel lines with minimal turbulence.

Germfree’s LAF Series Laminar Flow Hoods are designed for processes including filling systems for production of non-potent, non-cytotoxic liquid pharmaceutical products dispensed in parenteral vials, syringes, and cartridges.

Germfree manufactures Laminar Flow Enclosures for a range of biopharmaceutical processes requiring ISO 5 (EU Grade A) environments for all operations that expose components to the environment, including but not limited to: Tyvek lid removal, Nest Transport, Filling, and Closing and Capping.
