Germfree has designed engineered and manufactured specialized Class III BSC glovebox systems for laboratories that are equipped to receive high-risk unknown samples. These laboratories are operated by Public Health Agencies, Military Units and Hazmat Labs of specialized Police and Fire Departments. We have provided Class III Biological Safety Cabinets integrated with Class II BSC-biohoods and Class I BSC-fumehoods that are uniquely designed for the triage requirements of Laboratory Response Network (LRN) and Public Health Labs (PHL).
The units utilize HEPA and ASZM-TEDA carbon filtration to provide the highest level of user protection against chemical and biological threats. Germfree’s Class III BSCs provide an environment for the safe and secure triage, containment and analysis of suspect agents and variations can be used from the facility receiving area to the analytical laboratory. The units can be fitted with Rapid Transfer Ports (RTPs) to facilitate chain of custody procedures, secure storage of Select Agents, and to simplify workflow and processing.
