This Modular BSL-3 Laboratory is an integrated three module laboratory (88m2 gross area) connected to a conventional laboratory building at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases, University of Pretoria. The primary function of this laboratory is for the receipt and analysis of highly infectious samples from the region. This laboratory was provided with one room for housing small animals in a ventilated cage rack.
