Chief Financial Officer

Adam Simon, CPA, serves as Chief Financial Officer at Germfree, where he leads the company’s financial strategy and plays a central role in shaping the decisions that support Germfree’s long-term growth in the controlled environment and life sciences space.

In this role, Adam oversees financial planning and forecasting, capital structure, treasury management, risk management, and compliance, while also serving as a key cross-functional partner to leadership across operations, commercial strategy, HR, and IT.

Adam brings more than 17 years of experience as a strategic finance executive, with a career built around partnering with boards and CEOs at private companies ranging from $100M to $2B+ in size. Throughout his career, he has led complex M&A strategy and execution, guided organizations through capital and tax structure optimization, managed investor relations and board reporting, and driven ERP and systems transformation initiatives.

His expertise spans the full breadth of financial and operational leadership, including corporate governance, corporate insurance, employee benefits, and commercial strategy, giving him a uniquely broad perspective on what it takes to build and sustain a high-performing organization.

Known for his integrity, his innovative mindset, and his ability to motivate teams through periods of change, Adam brings both the technical depth and the collaborative instincts that complex, fast-moving organizations require.
