When a biopharma, biocontainment, or healthcare project needs something our standard lineup doesn’t cover, we design and build custom modular cleanrooms and facilities from the ground up, the option when the alternative is expensive, fixed-in-place, stick-built construction.

Germfree had to meet custom mechanical and HVAC requirements from our client with a fully loaded walkable mezzanine. This facility won “Best of the Best” in engineering news record.

Germfree designed and installed this BSL 3+ AG Facility included a specialized vivarium, and non-human primate colony inside.

Our largest challenge was accommodating large integrated process equipment which drove us to a custom modular (high hat style) module.

Germfree had to accommodate one of the largest fill finish isolators in the industry and developed a module with “blow out panels” for installation and a raised ceiling.

Germfree deployed this BSL-3 Facility onto the 5th floor of a hospital. This project required segregated utilities and site infrastructure and is a truly free standing facility.
