Jessica Miller

Jessica Miller, SHRM-SCP, has served as the Director of Human Resources at Germfree since November of 2017, filling the companies need for a strategic business partner in HR. In this capacity, her teams are building programs and policies that attract and engage the very best in our industry. Jessica has over 30 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry, much of it in the performance automotive field. After pursuing her degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, she joined Crane Cams in Daytona Beach, Florida, primarily as a programmer on a mainframe system. She was integral in the complete transition there to personal workstation focused computer processing, and spent many years as a corporate software and process trainer for all divisions of the company. Jessica left Crane to contract program independently for a few years, and then was invited to rejoin the corporate world in a different capacity. She worked with a small team to start up a new version of a company that had previously gone out of business. Four years of working in nearly every capacity of this new venture ended when the division was acquired by a larger company and then dissolved. This opened up an exciting new chapter in her career when she was asked to join the Germfree Team. When Jessica started at Germfree, there had been no in-house HR in more than two years. Five years later, we have over doubled the number of employees. We’ve built out the Germfree Academy to upskill our own workforce, taken the department from paper to 100% digital, and established a robust career path for employees to work toward their continued success at Germfree. When not at work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, country living and propagating her collection of tropical aroid plants.
