1) How often should sleeves be changed
Answer: We recommend changing the sleeves every 6 months.
2) How often should pre-filters be changed in Germfree equipment
Answer: Pre-filters should be changed every 90 days.
3) When should a HEPA filter be changed in our equipment?
Answer: Germfree recommends changing HEPA filters every 5 years or at a certifiers request.
4) How can we reset a Suspa lift keypad?
Answer: Hold down the 1, 2, and up arrow for up to 10 seconds. The number 5 should appear. Let the buttons go and the unit should be completely reset.
5) Does the model BBF have a damper system?
Answer: Yes the BBF does come with an internal damper from the factory since 2000. Please contact Germfree customer service department for instructions on how to access and adjust.
6) Where can I purchase parts for my Germfree equipment
Answer: You can purchase parts directly from Germfree. Please contact our customer service department for additional part numbers and pricing.
7) Does Germfree offer extended warranties on their equipment?
Answer: Yes, Germfree does offer an extended warranty which covers both parts and labor. Please contact our customer service department for details.
8) Does Germfree have a buyback or trade in program on used equipment?
Answer: Germfree does not currently offer any buyback or trade in credits on equipment.
9) What is the standard warranty on new equipment?
Answer: 24-months for standard equipment, 12-months for custom equipment.
10) What is the down flow/main chamber specs on an LFGI?
Answer: The down flow should range between 45-55 FPM and the reading on the work area pressure (digital gauge) should range between .09-.125 NEG or POS.
